Overview
Inspecting energy infrastructure once meant sending crews into weather and heights no one should face. Voltan put robots on the rounds instead.
Voltan's field teams climbed turbines and shut down substations for days to run inspections, work that was slow, costly, and dangerous.
The problem with manual rounds
Remote sites and hazardous conditions made routine inspection both risky and easy to defer, which let small faults grow into outages.
Robots on the rounds
Precept deployed inspection robots that run thermal, vibration, and visual checks on a schedule, in places too remote or too hazardous to staff safely.
The outcome
Faults are caught before they trip the grid, downtime for inspection dropped, and no one hangs off a nacelle in a gale anymore.
