Manufacturing Engineer

Overview
Precept turns designs into production lines, and Manufacturing Engineers are how that happens. You'll own the process that moves a part from raw stock to finished unit, designing the flow that makes a line fast, clean, and repeatable.
The role
You'll plan process flow, tooling, and fixturing for new and existing lines, balancing throughput, quality, and cost. You'll be the link between what the design calls for and what the floor can actually deliver at rate.
What you'll do
Develop process plans and work instructions, specify tooling and fixtures, and drive continuous improvement on running lines. You'll partner with robotics and controls to automate the repeatable work and remove bottlenecks before they form.
What you'll bring
A background in advanced manufacturing or process engineering, with hands-on experience taking products into production. You think in systems, you're comfortable with data, and you know how to make a line better without breaking what already works.
Bonus points
Experience with automation-heavy lines, DFM collaboration with design teams, or lean manufacturing practice.
Why Precept
We build our own lines because the line is the product as much as the part it makes. You'll work on real systems that ship to real factory floors, alongside a team that designs, builds, and operates everything in-house. We build in the U.S., and we build to last.
