Automation Integration Engineer

Overview
Most customers don't want their line torn out, they want it made better. As an Automation Integration Engineer, you'll bring robotics into the floor a client already runs, fitting automation to the operation instead of forcing a rebuild.
The role
You'll design, install, and commission systems that tie into existing equipment, working on-site to bring new automation online without stopping production. You're the person who makes integration feel like an upgrade, not an upheaval.
What you'll do
Scope and design integrations, install and commission on customer sites, and tune systems to full rate alongside the client's team. You'll travel to where the work is and own the line until it's running the way it should.
What you'll bring
Hands-on integration experience across robotics, controls, and mechanical systems, and the judgment to make new equipment work with old. You're comfortable on a customer floor, willing to travel, and steady when a live line needs solving.
Bonus points
Experience commissioning automation on active production floors or integrating across mixed equipment and vendors.
Why Precept
We build our own lines because the line is the product as much as the part it makes. You'll work on real systems that ship to real factory floors, alongside a team that designs, builds, and operates everything in-house. We build in the U.S., and we build to last.
